On Monday, members finished up an 8 hour technical rescue awareness program through Bucks County Community College. The program was an overview of the many technical rescue disciplines such as: rope rescue, confined space, trench, and structural collapse.

Members finished the class with some hands on skills including patient packaging and tie in to a stokes basket and basic lowering and haul systems.

It’s important to have basic knowledge to be able to identify instances where more specialized resources are required.
